Discuss any areas needing improvement before you start the day (speed, quality, dusting, wet-cleaning, etc.)2. Discuss today's entry instructions3. Discuss today's work order--ask if she has any questions. Let him/her read the info on the rooms she is to clean4. Discuss the following areas in detail: KITCHEN GENERAL DUSTING WET MOP BARE FLOORS5. Discuss the WOW list & when to use it.6. If this is his/her last day of training, check with the office to confirm her orientation time.7. Discuss office protocol for 1st & future days on their own (picking up equipment, returning equipment)8. Discuss his/her 1st day on him/her own (changes, new & unfamiliar homes, getting lost, working in teams, etc. -- ASK QUESTIONS)9. Remind him/her to be prepared before they starts each day, check entry instructions & work order10. Let her/him know they will need to call the office 30 minutes before they finish the job to allow time for a house check, until told otherwise. If they forget to allow 30 min., she will be stuck waiting on the house checker!11. Remind the trainee to check in/out by phone every single day, at every single house12. Confirm they are clocking in and out correctly on maid central and confirm their location services are turned on.13. Discuss 15 minute rule policy, (when and when not to contact the office)14. Discuss Baseboard Safety - Equipment should never touch or come in contact with baseboards or the base of any furniture. It will cause damage. Clean as close as possible without making contact.
